Are you using the Internet to display your latest photographs?
Are “new to market” photographers offering more apparent value than you?
Would you like to get families and friends talking about your photography service?
Do you have access to the Internet, but don’t have the time or resources to post your best work yet?
Does it take time to get a wedding album together, because you put in the extra effort?
Let imageSHARE be the portal for your “uncut” photographs. We will post your excess photographs to keep your Clients happy during that “waiting period” while you prepare the wedding album. It’s as simple as sending an email. You send us the photographs and we post them in an online flash gallery.
Who is imageSHARE targeting?
- Primarily wedding photographers, although this can be extended
- Young couples who are using technology more and more
- Couples that have family in different cities or countries than want to share their wedding photographs
What is the profile of people viewing images on imageSHARE?
The profile of people viewing the images would be: young, technology savy, similar age group to the wedded couple (potential future Clients), enthusiastic and will more than likely talk about the photographs / photographer.
What is imageSHARE offering photographers?
- imageSHARE is offering photographers 3 free trials for each of their next 3 Clients. This offer expires at the end of May 2010.
- Free advertising in the way of a business card on the imageSHARE site if you use the service more than 9 times in the previous three month period, and a front page advert in the current month if you have used the imageSHARE service the most number of times in the previous month.
- An edge over those photographers that are not yet part of the digital age.
What are the benefits of using imageSHARE?
- It is a form of word of mouth advertising which is the most powerful form of marketing as it builds the brand value of photographers.
- It fills the void, that quiet period, from the actual wedding to the delivery of the final wedding album. imageSHARE creates the anticipation of the delivery of the wedding album.
- It is delivered via the internet, which is very popular among the target age group and it is more effective than print media as a communicative tool.
- The message about the good work the photographers has done gets wider coverage among family and friends.
How does it work?
- The photographer offers imageSHARE as a value added service to their Clients, at a price determined by the photographer.
- When the event has occurred, the photographer selects up to 30 “uncut” images from the event, zips them and mails them across to imageSHARE.
- An order form will accompany the photographs which are submitted, against which an invoice is raised with the Photographer.
- The photographs are then uploaded to the imageSHARE site and a link sent to the photographer within 2 working days.
- Payment is then due and may be made by direct deposit (EFT) or via debit order arranged by imageSHARE.
The techno bits ….
- The galleries are flash based and the images cannot be printed from the imageSHARE site, except by “screenshot”.
- Email file sizes may be reduced, and emails need to be less than 100MB each. If you use the service often enough, there are other more efficient options of ensuring we receive the photographs.
Why should photographers use imageSHARE?
- It takes away the hassle of maintaining an online photo gallery.
- It is a common portal for couples to view their wedding photographs.
- It is a cheap and powerful form of advertising for photographers, targeting potential Clients.
- It is a welcome value add, where the industry is becoming increasingly competitive.
What are the options?
- Photographers determine the end price that they would charge their Clients for this service.
- You can post up to 30 photographs per event. Additional photographs can be posted and will be charged separately. All photographs need to be posted in a single batch.
- The albums will be hosted for a period of 3 months, which may be extended on request. Time extensions will be charged separately.
